Luo Ruiqing's Former Residence
As a national AAA tourist attraction, Luo Ruiqing Memorial is located at No. 25, Jiangjun Road, Shunqing District, Nanchong, Sichuan Province (formerly Qingquanba Village, Wufeng Town, Shunqing District). Luo Ruiqing's Former Residence is located in the Memorial and faces the east, adjacent to the Jialing River. Founded in the reign of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, it is a green tile residence with a three-in-one courtyard structure, with a floor area of about 300 square meters and nine rooms. General Luo Ruiqing was born here in the 32nd year of the Reign of Emperor Guangxu (on May 31, 1906) and lived here for 20 years. In 1986, the former Nanchong People's Government established the Luo Ruiqing's Former Residence Management Office (now renamed Luo Ruiqing Memorial), and maintained its original look of the main building after repairing, having been opened to the public. The Memorial covers an area of more than 8,000 square meters. Apart from the main building of the former residence, it is attached with facilities such as the Exhibition Room of Luo Ruiqing's Life and Deeds, Storehouse of Cultural Relics, Video Hall and the parking lot.
