Situated in the hinterland of Sichuan, Shanxi and Gansu, Nanchong is the central city of Chengdu-Chongqing City Cluster in the north, the bridgehead of Sichuan-Shanxi Revolutionary Base Area linking with Chengdu-Chongqing City Cluster and the important node connecting Silk Road Economic Belt and Yangtze River Economic Belt, owning special location advantage linking east and west and connecting south and north.
